I always make time to come here before I leave or when I get to the library because the food is soo goodie, I especially enjoy the variety of breads they use on the sandwiches plus the service by the ladies here is also very welcoming & warming. Totally recommend stopping by this coffee shop when visiting the library or even just to come here & enjoy some lunch.

This place is amazing! They offered the best coffee and showed the best attitude toward their costumers. I really like the atmosphere, great coffee, and nice interior. This is a good place to study or chill with friends. The coffee is 100% organic (rare product) and the pastries from Breadsmith were all tasty and worthwhile.

Great sandwiches. Great service with smiles. The pita-Parker is huge! And the Grill2 see you sandwich is warm and toasty with creamy pesto. :p

“Don’t panic, it’s organic” Coffee & tea is 100% certified organic & the food is bomb. What more can I say! Also their staff are so sweet! They always seem to have a good time there and enjoy exploring new coffee drinks!

Great coffee, beautiful décor, very attentive and friendly baristas working at Rise and Shine Cafe! It’s always quiet in this coffee shop. The music is hip, plants and succulents on every table and on stands are a sweet touch. The coffee quality is on point. Nice place to sit and chat or just study. The sofa is comfy and the tables have a nice view to the outside of Mcallen Public Main Library. I love coming here!!

Absolutely a wonderful place for coffee, study, or work remotely! The ambiance is a must experience, with a smooth and peaceful atmosphere, all whilst smooth jazz is heard overhead. The food is amazingly delicious as is the coffee, and Ms. Mari Lou is such a professional with outstanding customer service! This is a must visit place if one ever needs to enjoy a gourmet croissant with tea or cafe, or simply to escape one’s busy schedule! A massage for the mind and spirit.
